"We are not being truly civilized if we concern ourselves only with the relation of man to man. What is important is the relation of man to all life." Rachel Carson
Perhaps more than any other animal, polar bears have become the poster animal for climate change and for extinction due to human disregard of the environment. This image breaks my heart for the nurturing it depicts and for the love that exists in all forms of life on this planet.

In the Optimize program that I am taking and will soon be coaching, we talk about moving forward into growth or back into safety. You can't have growth without leaving your comfort zone. Purpose is also stronger when we are motivated for reasons beyond just ourself. Broadening our perspective lets the flow in and helps us get "unstuck." It's a choice that we constantly have to make if we want to be prepared to rock it! Who else are you rocking it for today?
